Ampair 600 for battery charging
The Ampair 600-24 and Ampair 600-48 are designed for charging high capacity DC battery banks, typically 800Ah or more. The correct wind turbine and regulator must be purchased at the outset - either the 24V version or the 48V version - as it is not possible to change the voltage at a later date. The wind turbine must be installed in conjunction with the Ampair 600 regulator which includes the regulator itself plus the dump load; the fuses; the rectifier; the stop switch; and heatsinks. Loads can be either 24V or 48V DC equipment or a Victron sine wave inverter can be used to power 230V equipment

Mounting options
The Ampair 600 system includes a range of mounting options for land and marine use. The only marine mount that we recommend is the stern mount kit co-developed by Ampair and Scanstrut. On land the same stern mount can be used and we also offer a wide range of other mountings:
TUM: steel unguyed mast with hinge and winch to allow turbine to tilt-up for easy access: sets hub 8m height above ground.
WPM: wooden unguyed telegraph poles with conversion kits:
WPM: kit to attach turbine to top of wooden pole;
WP-10: 10m pole sets hub 8m above ground;
WP-13: 13m pole sets hub 11m above ground.
GM-HD: Guyed steel masts from 12 hub height, heavy duty.
NPRM: Non penetrating roof mount suitable for load bearing flat roofs; sets hub 5m above roof.
Various mounts suitable for fixing on to vertical structures:
BWM: brick wall mount for suitable brick, block, masonry, and concrete;
SFM: steel frame mount for standard orientation beams;
SFM-R: for steel beams at 90 degrees to normal.

Ampair® 600 wind turbine.
Has a 1.7m diameter blade optimized for low and medium speed winds. It
incorporates the PowerFurl™ system first seen in the Ampair 300 which
slows the turbine down in high winds, reducing noise and mounting system
loads. It can be used on land or on larger vessels and, like all Ampair products, is built to full
marine grade specifications.
